What you'll own

Background we're looking for
A bachelor's degree is the baseline for this role, and most candidates have a graduate degree in computer science as well, though that's not a hard requirement. What matters more is 84 months of experience designing and delivering large-scale software systems, along with a track record of technical leadership that other engineers can point to. Strong communication skills are non-negotiable here, since a design that only makes sense to its author won't survive contact with a team of twenty.
